N.B.
Water injection will increase the output figures by approximately 8%.
These
performance figures will be obtained when the following operating/ambient
conditions apply:
Gas Turbine
Unit PG 6571
Ambient Temperature 15°C
Atmospheric Pressure 1013 mbar (a)
Humidity 60%
Inlet Duct Losses 4 inches WG
Exhaust Duct Losses 2 inches WG
Fuel Natural Gas /
Distillate to OEM Specification.
This
performance is subject to the following:
- Each test
to establish the performance figures shall be made when:
- The gas
turbine is commissioned and is in a clean and in proper working
condition.
- Using a
fuel of an acceptable quality as specified above.
- Distillate
fuel inlet pressure to the on base liquid fuel flange of 40 to 55 psig.
- The
contractor is witness to the test.
- The
tests, procedure and method of measurement (including margins to cover
errors in observation and measurement) to establish the operating
specifications shall be mutually agreed before commencement of the tests.
Prior to commencing the actual testing the main contractor will provide
specific customized data sheets for recording the unit parameters.
- Method of
measurement of ambient air temperature and ambient pressure shall be
agreed.
- All
performance tests shall, unless otherwise agreed to be carried out
immediately following the date that the gas turbine is ready for such
tests.

Commissioning
Services
Initial
start-up, system check-out, initial operations, commissioning and customer
personnel training will include the following:
- Service
engineers and technicians to oversee and direct the initial start-up,
system check-out, field acceptance tests, initial operations and
commissioning of the power plant. An hourly rate is included for 1000
hours for this support.
- USP&E
Global will provide operations training of a class of up to five (5)
customer personnel for the gas turbine generator sets and related
equipment. The training will consist of class room and hands-on training
for the completed gas turbine generator set installation, excluding the
heat recovery units. The operations training course will require five (5)
continuous days of dedicated time by customer personnel and will take
place during the installation of the turbine generator package.
- USP&E
Global will recommend a nominal supply of consumable and replacement components
for to purchase concurrently with the manufacture of the equipment, in
sufficient quantity for use during the start-up, check-out and
commissioning and as projected for one full year of operation. Customer
will be expected to purchase these items and to replenish the stock as
items may be used or consumed. Note: this paragraph will be superseded
by any Comprehensive Service Agreement entered into between the Customer
and USP&E Global as desired.
- USP&E
Global will provide to customer a supply of components that should be on
hand during the first two years of operation of the gas turbine in the
event of premature failure of those components. Customer will provide dry,
clean storage for such components and make them available to USP&E
Global service technicians as required.
